this fall, i’ll begin a master in design studies at harvard gsd, where i plan to explore how design can respond to conflict, hold memory, and support social transformation. i’m especially interested in examining narco-territorial dynamics in mexico and how spatial practices might make systemic violence visible while opening space for healing.
i intend to investigate anticipatory, restorative, and participatory design strategies that foster resilience, disrupt cycles of harm, and create structures of possibility. my goal is to develop methodologies, programs, and policy frameworks that empower communities and help reimagine urban futures in conflict-affected regions.
